About

This curriculum is a grand interweaving of dream practices, techniques, insights, studies and stories from around the world, centered in the dream teachings of indigenous México.

The name for the course is an ode to ‘The Art of Dreaming’ by Carlos Castaneda whom many of you may be familiar with, in the book he shares a bit of his personal experiences with the dream knowledge from the lineage of Nagualismo taught to him by the zapotec-yaqui native Juan Matus. In our ‘Art of Dreaming’ course additional to personal experiences, you will learn actual dream knowledge, wisdom, techniques and practices from many different indigenous oral traditions from all over México.

With this said, this expansive curriculum is not only comprised of the indigenous dream wisdom of México, as we have supported these traditional teachings with teachings from all over the world; Dreamtime of the Aboriginal Australia, Ancient Dzogchen Dream Yoga, Psychological-Oneirological Theory, Modern Dream Science, African Oneiric Wisdom, Islamic Oneirology and more.

  • Various renown scholars have confirmed there being a particularly rich and sophisticated oneiric wisdom here in México. The “Art of Dreaming” explores this mystery and shares dream teachings from curanderismo to chamanismo and nagualismo.

  • Additional to the traditional Mexican dream teachings, this curriculum includes various other cultures and traditions whom also hold precious dream knowledge and wisdom including (Aboriginal Australia, North American Indigenous, Hebrew Kabbalah, Indigenous of the Amazon, Sufistic dream teachings of medieval Islam, Dzogchen Dream Yoga , dream wisdom of Africa and other tribal-nomadic peoples + more)

  • The best part of the “Art of Dreaming” is that the teachings are heart-centered and approach the dream as an experience of the soul instead of being mere mental phenomena or unconscious activity, allowing you to appreciate, explore and work with the heights and depths. of the dream experience.
